There is already a MP mod so what if the developers merged it with default SimplePlanes for pc and mobile? I mean, how hard could it be if there is already a mod for that and iOS and android use the same platform or coding so there wouldn't be any cross platform issues. Oh and before you say iPhones can't handle multiplayer just ignor that factor please because yeah obviously if there are lots of players it will lag but mobile games already have very good multiplayer even with large entities and stuff. I really want to play multiplayer with my brother who is on a computer and me on an iPhone. It doesn't need servers hosted by devs or anything, just player to player or someone with port forwarding like it is now. I reaaalllly want to see this soon or at least let iOS users install mods from the website without a jailbreak. Like when you download the mod file it says "open in SimplePlanes?" Then it should work like airplanes work. Thx for reading and I hope you think about it!
Built in multiplayer for PC and mobile(or mod importingon mobile)

@mushr0om honestly if i was a dev, this would be my Main proirity. Especially because 7 years ago they wernt trying to make sp2. I mean, sooo many people ask for it, it ought to have been a main thing.
@Pineconse forgot to mention i have 400 mpg saves and another thousand of sp planes
@Nanother I would assume some games would be allowed mods , some strange stuff about terms and services but you can like get the source code then turn that into a file then move it to the simple pan folder and it would work
@Pineconse i have 1000+ mods in mpg💀
It’s because players would install too many mods and end up crashing the ipad
So there is a wierd reason why they don’t let you download mods for iPad
I wanna download mods on my iPad sadly there isn’t a button for ios to download a mod
@Tully2001 I wish they did not remove mod usage on android
@Tully2001 Of course there would be lag. When
AI spawns in, it lags the game for a few seconds. A low part count and player count could counter the lag issues.
With a low part limit there should be no problem if actions are server sided. Idk the devs priorities but it might be too hard or just not worth it.
oml. the devs of mods cant change iOS modding, that is controlled by apple, this has been said who knows how many times, how have you not seen it?
Probably against apple policy
@JMicah4 yes but it's better than nothing! And in my experience with the mod is was good enough to play with.
multiplayer is rly, rly rly buggy
