@MasterLobster Steel Beasts is a realistic tank sim but idk if it's multiplayer
Alternatively you could play DCS Combined Arms but DCS is really a plane game so idk if its any good
@MasterLobster it's strange, though. While the Germans certainly had wonderful tank designs, they also had the fewest tanks. An American tank column might have only a few TD's to deal with a squadron of Tigers munching on their puny short barreled Shermans, but they also had close air support and could call in artillery barrages. There's a reason Eastern Front German armor was camouflaged to look like giant shrubs. And that's not even considering the fact that most German armored vehicles were STUG's, not even true tanks... I could go on all day, but you catch my drift.
@F104Deathtrap The tanks in IL-2 BoS work quite well, you can control it yourself by changing positions or letting someone join you inside your tank and operate the turret while you drive. Too bad it's terribly balanced.
@MasterLobster Lemme know if you find one, but I doubt there's too many people that want a realistic version of a 25mph steel box that requires 4 people working together in order to run properly. When I was a kid, I figured the future of videogames was more realism, boy was I dumb.
I heard about WOT selling "gold ammo," decided against ever playing it, and never gave it a second thought. I'm sure it's not a bad game, but paying money for an advantage undermines the concept of a game to me.

Generally speaking it's not really RNG, it just depends on where you hit your target.

@F104Deathtrap Yeah, I guess you're right.
@MasterLobster WW2 was terribly balanced, too. But I'm assuming you mean that there are silly ways that players game the game to win.

@F104Deathtrap Excactly, those are just arcade games, that's why I'm still looking for a sim with an active playerbase.
lol, one cthis add was on my right side of screen and a WoT add was on the other :D

@MasterLobster I wouldn't call either of these games a "simulator," but I get what you mean.
@Planeengineer31625324 I'm still looking for a tank simulator with more than 10 people playing at once spread all over the world
