So, I've had a couple instances where I found successors of my creations that were not correctly labeled as successors, as if the users copied my whole plane as a subassembly and used it in a new creation. That in itself is annoying, but what's worse, I think, is the "credit to the guy who made it" statement that every one of them has used. Saying "credit to the guy who made it" does not give ANY credit at all to the person who made it. All it says is "This isn't my creation" without letting anybody know who did the work. A successor to one of my creations even won a contest and was featured in a Youtube video and I found it completely by accident. I probably wouldn't have even watched the video if it weren't in my autoplay list for some reason. But, because there was no proper credit given, I got nothing from my creation winning a contest and, worst of all, I never even knew it was up there! I would have loved to have seen it when it was new instead of six months later, but instead, I got "credit to the guy who made it." I told the guy who uploaded the plane that he really needed to give credit and he said "I said 'credit to the guy who made it,'" so I really don't think people understand what crediting is for.
I'm not trying to get anything from these instances and I'm not going to call anybody out, but seriously, guys, can't we practice some proper crediting techniques, preferably proper successors?
Well some guy in YouTube named blah"SFS Indo" Fully f**king copy my whole rocket and satelite the only difference is the strut block is 1 centimeter away from the original place
Haha, very true. @Phaz3Shift
@TheLatentImage I'm glad the admins/mods will look into it! I already told the instances I've seen that they really need to provide proper credit, but if it persists, I'll definitely report it!
@jamesPLANESii and @Awsomur Yeah, "too lazy" sums it up pretty well. Of course, it would be way too much effort to type someone's name, I guess!
@Awsomur Yeah. Mine can't run any of my games anymore...
Of course I love Apple 100%, but our precious devices don’t last forever. (Unlike the Nokia 3310)
@jamesPLANESii
Yup. XD @Awsomur
If your able to write “I’m too lazy to” then you sure as hell can write “this was made by @User”. @jamesPLANESii
its mostly white and bronze users who do it
I just use tag
And then there's "I'm too lazy to give credit"...
@ProKillaV12 oooooooooooooooooooooooh phew
@BaconRoll wait no it isnt you...this creation was b4 u existed (get roasted) and the guy is platinum
Simple, just report it.
@ProKillaV12

The only reason I've saved something as a subassembly is when I'm taking the car to make multiple versions of it for my own use, but I don't upload those. I mainly use them as bases for upgrading stuff.
Report instances of a design circumventing the successor system and they will be dealt with.
Well I think bacon roll (someone named liek that) took one of my game things where u bomb a city (was amazing for its time) and just added bombs on the plane (this was before update so their were no weapons he had an advantage due to me being on IOS) and his build was featured on youtube.
Not annoyed by it tho since i didnt even make the plane or city i just combined it
I 100% agree, There are also people out there who do give credit, but only credit you for like a small part when clearly another part is yours (eg. crediting for the cockpit but also using your wings, tailplane, landing gear, etc).

I agree. I hate whenever someone makes a successor and leaves no description, let alone credit to me.
