Hiya, I’ve been making a submersible that can, among other things, fire missles from underwater. I have the missiles working (using a jet engine which starts when it launches out of the water) however, when I attach a bomb, missile, or torpedo to it, at around 100ft below the surface it just drops off and falls to the sea bed. Is this me, or is it the game?
Also, any chance of a subsea camera?
Thanks in advance.
SR
I tried this, but let me check ghat sub! @Seanbon007
You could try having them in an activation group where they only activate on the firing group, it worked in Agnes designs submarine
@SpiritusRaptor ya,weird. IF SUBS HAVE TORPS IN REAL LIFE! SUPER CRAZY!
@dootdootbananabus Same happens to torpedoes! crazy
@Wakescar there's torps
@denialofservice I am aware. I’m saying the game doesn’t accommodate watercraft, especially submersibles, the way it does aircraft and even land vehicles now. There are no vanilla parts that support their existence.
Also happens for me at 60ft-200ft. Maybe it’s the game’s algorithm that renders the weapon as deactivated/broken or something and detaches it.

I am currently researching if this applies in real life. Like if the weapons’ armed unit deactivates or breaks under those circumstances...
@Wakescar there is nothing under the sea in sp
It's been said space won't happen in SP so the way I see it, the sea is the final frontier. I vote yes on subsea cameras and simulation optimization.
From my experience it more like 200ft. Though I might be wrong. @Rodrigo110
Ooooh yes!
For the weapons, anything but guns from those usually detach from the aircraft as a part of the game to simulate water pressure makes them unusable. Subsea, IDK coz I don't build subs
For me, when I have a seaplane with bombs that touch the water the bombs also fall
The game despawns any bombs or missiles below 100ft
