I’ve been dabbling into XML-modded missiles in order to improve their performance and ease of use, courtesy of WNP78’s helpful guide. That being said, I always wanted a missile that can hit air and ground targets.
As it turns out, there is, and isn’t. According to WNP78, you can set your missile’s function to “Multirole” with XML. However, it doesn’t do anything.
I think that we should get a missile that can kill planes and tanks. After all, many air-air and air-ground missiles share common airframes.

just type "MultiRole"
Hmm, perhaps.
uh, what?
The functions must be added to ALL weapons like rockets so it would be an anti air rockets
@AndrewGarrison pls.
Use the detached trick, attach the small end of the detacher to the craft, and two missiles to the large sides. When either is fired, it brings the detacher and whatever is attached to it along
@WNP78 aw shucks
@RedstoneAeroAviation nope. Unless you get two different missiles and somehow attach them to each other.
set
function to AirToSurface
set another
function to AirToAir
Does that work?
@Alienbeef0421 Such an arrangement, while effective, is rather clumsy and finicky to use in the best of conditions.
Though the hard part is to actually shift it.
Why not shove an Interceptor and an Inferno to a custom body?
i agree
