Recently Tinland discovered a Gas giant in the habitable zone of TYC-9486-971-1
and they sent a recon fleet immediately, knowing there was a large moon there with a high chance of life. They got there and found it was mostly oceans but a few continents are there with snowy forest and flat open plains. A shuttle called the TSS Hermes was the only ship in its fleet capable of landing there. Being that it was orbiting a gas giant it had to behind it.... leaving it in complete darkness. They set up a camp and got through it unscathed but when they were returning to light the actual sunset was in progress. Due to protocol on habitable planets (with there still being possibility that alien life would be crude to them) they had two of their crew out to guard them. This is where it becomes sad, a alien creature (too dark to identify) came into the camp and injured one but took another crew member with it. The injured one however can not provide us with information due to him being traumatized....
They have renamed the two celestial objects "Gelida Infernum" frozen hell for the moon, and "Belyh krovjan" white blood for the gas giant.
They have retreated the recon ship and now a strong military presence is there, with 10 TLC-1s and many troops. The current loss will be remembered and investigated. That is all for today.
