Am I supposed to track when I reach certain tiers? I've seen people post the dates of when they reached certain tiers but are we supposed to do that or is it more of a preference thing.
15 points go to you per upvote on creations, 2 per forum post, and nothing for comment upvotes yet. White is the fewest upvote, bronze is 100 pts, silver is 1000pts, gold is 5k points, platinum is 25k points
Let's say three people upvote one of your planes. That would give you 15*3=45 points and put your points at 113. That would mean you would be a bronze user. I have around 12,000 points, but since bigger ranks require more time to progress to the next bigger rank, I'm still a 4th tier user (Gold).

Spotlights work differently than points. If you have more points than a person you can 'spotlight' their works. A spotlight sends a plane to all the followers of the person that spotlighted. Spotlighted planes show up in the 'Jet Stream' page.
.
Good ways to get points quickly is to build in a unique or detailed style, to always be kind, and to help others out.

You get bronze at 101 points.
You get silver at 1001 points.
You get gold at 5001 points.
You get platinum at 25,0001 points/ 25.0k points.
A spotlight sends puts the aircraft in the jetstream of your followers. But you must have more points than the creator of the craft that you are spotlighting.
An upvote on a forum post is worth 2 points.
An upvote on a craft post is worth 15 points.
And an upvote on a mod is worth around 25 points, I think.
@MrPanzer I’m pretty sure that’s preference

@ForeverPie I do not believe so, as shown by this
And soon, your points will update, my upvotes will kick in, and you'll be bronze!
