Chained piston

Hi all! I have a little question
I noticed that chained piston become wobbly with air speed, is there a way to make it solid?

But this doesn’t affect my LG, it affects a turret that doesn’t wobble on small builds, but does on large builds. It’s an identical turret and this is why I believe it is to do with the he size of the aircraft @Alienbeef0421

@Rodrigo110 heavier = more stable. That's why you should never set MassScale for custom gear parts to 0.

How exactly did you stop the wobbling?! This issue has been plaguing me for a long time! @MisterT

@Rodrigo110 Ok, thanks for the info, by the way, i found a way to fix it, but i had to remove one of the pistons.

Unfortunately this is just what happens with pistons and hinges at high speeds (or when they are supporting lots of mass). I think it is to do with the actual mass of the aircraft on which it is mounted. The reason I believe this is because I created a turret, and when mounted on a small aircraft it was perfectly stable; but when mounted it on a large cargo aircraft it wobbled when traversing. It’s just the unfortunate reality of SP physics, there’s nothing you can really do (at least to my knowledge).

I set mass scale to 1, I also try to make a bigger piston for a shorter distance, and I alternate piston - fuselage - piston. But still wobbly.

I think it has to do with how far out it extends...
