@Johawks1976 I haven't worked on the cutter for at least 2 months, and I need to rethink some of the ideas I had for it. I think the 'final build' thing I'm gonna drop, I like making ships after all.
@WhiteRabbit it's the fer-de-lance, they're not easy to find from the start and cost a whole lot of money to outfit. Mine cost me almost 150million credits to completely outfit it.
Rip. So if you were to accelerate retrograde for 10 seconds at 600m/s^2 and just turn off the engines, it would complete an orbit without falling into the atmosphere? Lol @BaconEggs
@BaconAircraft There's almost no orbital mechanics, the only thing you can do is turn off flight assist at the right speed over a planet and it orbits slowly.
How does the orbital mechanics work in elite? Is it aerodynamic space or does it actually factor in continuous momentum when making a maneuver? (e.g. if you chase after a guy in retrograde motion, would you deorbit yourself?)
@WhiteRabbit you're right, it is from Elite Dangerous, definitely worth getting if you're a combat-driven pilot.
@Ephwurd it's a combat ship, if you're thinking that because of the glass panels, they do interesting stuff at times. That's a nice idea though, carrying passengers.
@WhiteRabbit By the btw way, what's your cmdr. name?
@BaconEggs look what you made in 9 hours

Upload the cutter!

@BaconEggs NICE! What ship specifically is it? I just bkught Elite Dangerous 2 weeks ago. Currently outfitting a Cobra Mkiii
@Kerbango except for a cheeseburger ;)
And I hate that you get more up votes on a forum post asking a simple question than I get on any upload I ever make.
Yeah.
do it
@BaconEggs lol
@BaconAircraft That's another thing, you can't orbit or land on atmospheric planets
only rocky ones, and hilariously not even our own moon

no

@BaconEggs ahh, I see. An ED replica, though the design really gave off that impression.

Fer De Lance! Yay!
Why not upload it?It's epic!:D

Why the heck wouldnt you post it?? It looks awesome. Looks like something out of Elite Dangerous!
Oh yes! It looks very well-made, plus it looks like a trans-orbital shuttle with both passenger and cargo-carrying capabilities.
of course you should upload it
Upload tag me pls
If you think it’ll get even one upvote then post it
