I found out SP is on Wikipedia.

SimplePlanes is a simulation video game developed and published by Jundroo LLC. SimplePlanes followed the release of SimplePhysics and SimpleRockets. The game was first released on Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows and was ported to iOS and Android later. It was released onto Steam on 17 December 2015 after going through the Steam Greenlight process. The game received mixed reviews from critics, with the main downfalls mentioned the most being the “slippery controls” and the graphical design.

GAMEPLAY:
In SimplePlanes the player is tasked to build a plane using the materials and objects provided. Downloadable planes created by the community can also be downloaded. When the plane is finished, the player can fly it around the open-world physics-based map featuring 5 different islands with unique features. The game also has the ability to build cars, boats, trains and mechanical objects. SimplePlanes contains challenges which the player can do. The challenges involve short tutorial-type activities such as the "take-off tutorial" and the "landing tutorial" but can get more advanced with missions such as "SAM Evasion" which is a 4 stage level which increasingly gets harder to avoid surface to air missiles and "Trench Run" which is a race through a canyon-like area on one of the game’s islands. There are also bombs, wing guns and mini guns, missiles, rockets and torpedoes in the game for the player to use on their creations. Also, new additions in the "Damage Control" update include Fletcher-class destroyer to fight in a new mission, a totally new damage system to make the game more realistic, anti-missile countermeasures, torpedoes, single rockets instead of just rocket pods and a cruise missile.

DEVELOPMENT:
Following the release of popular games SimpleRockets and SimplePhysics, Jundroo LLC released SimplePlanes on Windows and Mac OSX. Soon after it was ported to iOS and Android. The Windows and OSX versions were first sold on Gumroad but when SimplePlanes was released onto Valve Corporation's Steam on 17 December 2015 after going through the Steam Greenlight process, all sales were moved there. All purchasers from Gumroad received a free Steam key. Mac copies were also sold via the Mac App Store. The people who purchased the game through this method had to email the receipt to get the Steam key.

I don't know about all those critics but if your plane looks like a toy and pieces don't fit together like you want them you need to get good.XD

But you’ve got to admit: the terrain graphics suck.

Hey, every game has criticism. Even though you might not agree with it doesn’t make it invalid.

Ugh the reception bit. These critics only complained about how they weren’t smart enough to build anything good. Also ‘a poor man’s Wii Sports Resort’ is not how to describe SP’s visuals, geez. Apparently this game which is more free and customisable than any sandbox game ‘lacks the charisma’ of KSP which has less customisable parts and arguably worse graphics. Ridiculous.
