No, but if you change the color to a lighter shade it will be a little easier to see in the dark. You can change the size of the beacon, which also changes the size of the light, too. Using XML doesn't make a build unfriendly to iOS, just actual mod parts (like the glass mod, exhaust, etc)
Nope, but the "corona" grows proportionally to the size and shape of the light.
