    Despite the android hardware being superior (though the processor isn’t) iOS devices still vastly outperform any similarly priced android device because of their optimisations @Delphinosr

    1. iOS Apps codes does not require a separate runtime environment, like android. As there is no separate runtime environment to run application, OS directly communicates passes to the software and thus message overhead time is considerably reduced. Not only time, even battery is also saved by this ideology.
    2. Both OS has linux kernal but when iOS turns into runtime environment, it becomes magical in performance.
    3. In case of Android, latest version uses ART (Android Runtime) is having a lesser over heads to JIT compilation which ultimately runs Android apps. But JIT compilation of byte code present in application leads to lesser performance as compared to iOS. Basically iOS does not require any medium or intermediate runtime environment to communicate between OS and software. Android has various other cores which are communicating with software... Most Android OS devices do have similar or even higher specs hardware.. Android has to rely upon another virtual layer called the JVM (Java Virtual Machine) in order to execute Java bytecode into native C/C++ code the LLVM can then finally process into machine/binary code, whereas iOS code is already on Objective-C/Swift, it only has to pass that code onto the LLVM (which then churns out machine/binary code) so the middle man of the JVM is completely cut out, hence the speed bottleneck @Rodrigo110 ;-)

    Being on a 4 year old Apple device hasn’t stopped me from building a 1500 (and rising) part aircraft and running it on medium settings.

    Your PC performance doesn’t sound very good, my iPad is from 2014 (iPad Air 2) and I can run 800 part planes on max settings at around 30FPS. iPads have numerous advantages over any android device such as power (android is only just catching up to the A9X, which is 2 generations old for Apple), optimisation and camera quality. Also, I want to point out that the Samsung Tab A 10.1” is only $100 less than the budget iPad but the performance on the iPad is at least 2-3x better. Maybe not so overpriced! Also, that’s not even mentioning the more refined software and the much better virus protection. @bjac0

    @WaffleCakes ios users do not need a soap box, in the same way that pc users don't need one

    I played Fornite once. Bad graphics on mobile, plus a bunch of pros kicking my noob arse every time I tried.

    No point in “standing up.” You can’t change anyone’s minds. (Trust me, I’ve tried)

    @Awsomur you're right,but I should take a stand for the iOS users.

    @JangoTheMango I HATE the Android userface. Samsungs has a rough look with the cameras. Plus,they are cheap sometimes. And maybe you're right,a PC probably,y would be better. But my dad says if I get good,grades he'll buy me a Mac Book.

    @JangoTheMango i can confirm, my PC kept up with me for almost 6 years and was one of the lowest tier PCs available. It was meant for work, not gaming. Still allowed me to make that 14,000 part train though.

    @WaffleCakes you clearly have no knowledge of the PC master race, my gaming pc costed 650$ factory new, around the same as an ipad, can run a 770 part plane at 48fps with all settings at max, the only advantage that ipads have is mobility but you can get a better machine from samsung, remember this in the future.
