Has anyone else experienced, after the new update, the fine tuning feature for the angling of parts is less accurate and gives a different angle each time it is used?
Example: when the sensitivity is set to 100% and the feature used the values and effect range from 179 - 181 (decimal differences are included)
It’s just something that I’m curious about whether it is only experienced by me or not)
That looks really great! Also I’m impressed that you replied to a 7-month old post I had forgotten about! @AndrewGarrison
@RailfanEthan @KidKromosone @CRJ900Pilot @JelloAircraftCorporation The part transform tool will be improved in 1.8. Here's a screenshot.
@JohnnyBoythePilot Haha you’re lucky then! I use it all the time since I’m on iOS
I don't use the game's nudge tool, I use fine tuner mod instead.
YES
Oh ok. Thanks though @Tully2001
@Tully2001
Can you please try and fix this?
Yes, I thought it was just the game displaying the number wrong, but in fact the part itself is moving the 179-181 degrees. And it is really annoying when I’m trying to rotate something, like a written sign. If I rotate it by the 90 degree increments, then it attaches, which is hard to deal with. I really want this fixed if I plan to keep building.
@Datom ik :)
@Minecraftpoweer Sorry I meant it as a bit of a joke but I understand what you mean and I appreciate the info :)
@Datom no that doesnt matter, i only mentioned it because multiple people have the issue. Ofcourse you can make a forum about the same problem.
@Minecraftpoweer Oh Haha I didn’t know there was another one about it! This was my idea then honest(!)
somebody else also made a forum about it so it probably happens to most people. I use the mod one so idk if it happens to me
I really wih it was just a box where you could enter angles, sort of like the x, y, and z movement box
@KidKromosone Glad to know it’s not just my game then :)
Ja, I have.
@RailfanEthan Ah I thought it was both the value and the part, but it is a bit irritating at times because it tends to throw me off :/
i think that it's only the value shown in the designer, and not the part itself. You just have to remember to 'round' the numbers.
yes
