Is there anything an iOS user can do to prepare for the worst (Beta Testing)

12.1k BlackhattAircraft  5.8 years ago

I'm thinking about becoming a beta test for iOS, because I doubt anyone is doing it, but I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to prepare for the worst, because I have a lot of aircraft on my ipad.

Just back up your device, and upload any planes you want to keep safe. I’m on IOS and joined the Beta, it runs fine for me.

Will the Beta eventually come as an Update when all bugs are fixed?

Use another device. Maybe your phone. I got the beta and nothing has been erased or corrupted, so don’t worry too much.

All I’m saying is back up builds you like by posting them as unlisted. On sp Mac you can just copy all of them into a new folder

There is likely a way to access the folder through connecting your device to a mac. Ask the Jundroo team how they save planes on Ios. I would bet they do it the same way as on pc and Android, the only difference being that it is not directly accessible from IOS. You might be able to do something with ur pc. Not sure about any of this.

@Nerfenthusiast I think that would be a lot more easy than uploading all of my onto the website xD

Maybe just copy the folder with the plane files somewhere else on the system

I think that’s the only way on iOS @BlackhattAircraft

Don't do it unless you can backup all of your planes and sub assemblies
