- I’m low on inspiration to build on SP.
- BeanNG is only fun for s small amount of time since there’s no career mode (it desperately needs one)
- I’m not interested in trucks
- I want to learn how to fly powered aircraft. Flying gliders is too unpredictable and random.
- I can’t buy any more flight sims cuz all the good ones are too expensive
- Deadstick still isn’t out
- The lack of verity of aerofoils in SP means many planes with thick ones or stuff like vgs, slats and interesting aerodynamics fly like crap
- I’m interested in flying planes POWERED PLANES! LEARNING GO ACTUALLY OPERATE THE ENGINE AND DOING ALL THE ATC!!!
- I don’t have a stock pile of $60,000 to learn to fly
Doing stuff vertually is boring. Also I’m getting bored of everything because my interests have moved to things I can’t do lol.

I’m getting the game.
Save up and take a lesson, see if you still like it. There are definitely way worse things to save your money for and spend it on. Not sure how it works in NZ (and at the risk of a highly unpopular recommendation) but the cheapest way to powered flight 'round here is the military.
Got my private pilot license for about $5000 usd total over 2 years.
If you save for a year or two you should easily be able to pay for one.
Depending on how lucky you are with weather and scheduling/how quickly you pick up flying it can cost anywhere from $4000-$10000 I estimate. Especially if you’ve already flown gliders I bet you’ll catch on quickly and maybe even need less time to study for the written test.
Stormwlrks is fun @TheEpicMOONHAWK
That doesn’t sound right... @DerekSP
If you still are looking for something new in the virtual world, what about checking out stormworks, I heard it's quite cool, and it's difficult in career mode apparently. Iv watched YouTube videos of stormworks and it looks like a pretty promising game.
Oh but don't take my advice first, take others advice first, like WNP78's for the real world, it's better.👍
Not sure how it works in NZ but there is likely a way to progress through a glider pilot's licence to a self-launching motor glider and go from there as an easier way into power. It's a thing to research. Also, do some really good looking for flying scholarships and bursaries in your area. I don't know if there is a NZ equivalent for the Air League, but have a look around.
60 thousad dollars? the price of a private pilots license around here is 60 thousand czech crowns, which is about $2700, and you can buy a used UL in the czech republic for less than that
If you know the right people, you can get a pilots license, like me, no prob... oh wait, your in New Zealand...
Not to be that guy but....

It's virtually not vertually
Why don't you learn those powered paragliders? It looks cool imo and you can store them quite easily
Grab a motor out of some barnyard junk and strap it to the glider
@jamesPLANESii Ok.
Modern problems require modern solutions.
I guess try to make a go fund me? It might be pretty desperate but you can tell your story. How you really love flying gliders but would absolutely want to try powered flight just that the money is missing or something like that. Who knows maybe some generous pilot sees it and donates a lot of money because they want more people to fly?
Idk. I think I’m gonna go and get a job. @Minecraftpoweer
