Building cars, making the headlights are often quite boring & linear as there's not much we can do with rounded lights where one part of the object is larger than actual glowing bit.
I'd pay you to make a new beacon/light model! Preferably with similar properties to a hollow fuselage block. Imagine the possibilities!

And @AndrewGarrison please could you add real landing lights ? Putting beacons under the wings or on the gear is useless, and it really bother me to use the "landing light" mod because if I use it and post my plane, other users will have to download it too

They're working on proper lights than actually illuminate their surroundings in SimpleRockets 2, so it is possible they could put those into SP when they're finished.
And please make it so it actually lights up the environment

@JamesBoA That's a whole different thing. These subtle Headlight LED's hardly emit any light.

pls, making interior lights for my trains is annoying and makes me salty
it's almost impossible to make a number light for trains, too
