I just wonder, because it’s the exact same as a normal One (Hitbox), so it eliminates the whole Purpose of it. And if the Devs read this (which I doubt they will), it would be amazing to make it possible to make them open in a specific Area (Bomb Bays would be way easier to build). But that’s just me.
I did not expect People to still see this XD
A feudal age inlet has the same hit box. It would be cool if stuff could go in an inlet and set the engine on fire.
Because that's what people has been asking for like years lmao
It doesn't matter that the hitbox keeps you from placing stuff inside. SP connections physics will make things attach to the outside even with a hollow hitbox.
It is for when you want a fuselage inlet without the rear. Useful for steering wheels. Also of pipes that only need to look hollow, not act like it.
To make whatever we made before with fuselage inlets, but better.
@AWESOMENESS360 It cuts down the part count significantly on details, by as much as from 4 parts down to 1. Those are big savings over time, and they don't have the solid back end like the inlets
Details and cockpits
@PvPSky Yes, you'd have to fine tune things in, but only one thing in, because once you have one, you can just mirror it to the other side, move it, mirror it, and so on, until you have the right results. Pretty easy to do, and it saves time.
A Bomb bay would still be hard, because, as said, the Hitbox doesn’t chabge. @shipster
The Thing is, you will have to nudge every single Part inside, instead of just placing it inside, because the Hitbox is the same as a normal Fuselage. Which is awkward conidering it was made for that. @AWESOMENESS360 @FLATTEREARTH
So you can make interiors for things like jets
They couldn't be better. But I would like to see a feature that you could cut out a section of a fuselage part, and it have varied hit box and connecting-features via the shape of the cut fuselage
Nawww they are literally the best part ever, it can be used as a detail part, a window, a bomb bay, a base for a custom bomb, and landing gear bays
