I live 7 miles from the center of this place, and so, it really gives me great fascination. Founded in 1635 by Peter Bulkeley, a Puritan minister from England, it has seen soldiers invade it like an enemy capitol, visits from paupers to Presidents, many of its residents becoming famous ‘round the world, and a national park put inside its borders. My 1st Cousin, 10 times removed, was married to Betty Parris, made famous in the play/movie The Crucible, lived in Concord. Share your stories as well, I would like to hear them.
