So I've seen a lot of posts/ ideas for automatic turrets. The destroyers have automatically aiming turrets. so my idea is this:
have a block that uses the same AI as the turrets on the destroyers, but make them target any enemy aircraft, then add two different rotators (hinge/swivel) that are connected to the block with changeable options:
rotators:
Range (0--> 180)
speed (0-->100)
Horizontal control: True/false
Vertical control: True/false
Activation group: 1-8
Select Turret block (like selecting an engine for the wheels)
The block itself would be different:
Turret block
Range: sets the range in which the turret will target/ fire on said aircraft
Select guns: chose the guns that are to be assigned to block (like the wheel to the engine)
Select Cockpit: this is special because once the cockpit is selected the turret won't shoot at something connected to the cockpit (ex: wing, engine, fuselage block, etc)if it is in the way of the target.
Targeting: options for it to target land/and or air targets.
other stuff
Gun types
Add one more gun type: a WW2 flak gun. (for historical purposes obviously)
When i type it overload in rotator and hinge rotator aboat horizontal control and vertical control
@MTakach i dont know about the horizontal control and vertical controll
@MTakach okay
@Michaelgaming1
the new update that they are going to release make it possible.
@Michaelgaming1 how do you know?
It dosent work
@AndrewGarrison Please look.
@MTakach
If they were to introduce turret mechanics, they would be bound by the same rules current rotators follow. Meaning that they can rotate 180° one way, then mist turn ALL the way around to continue tracking. Why? Because reasons....
@Bobjoezonehill good, Idea, but what my original intent was for the turret to go 360
@doge @MTakach
That is an easy fix. Just make it so that the turret cannot rotate where the vertical stabilizer is. Like set it to face forward by default and set rotate range to 175°.
Im using missiles to power up an auto turret.. The problem is.. They are too fast..
they also dont birck ur phone becuse u had the home button replaced this isnt a problem on newer iphone btw sice they dont have that featue

No product is perfect nuthing is immune android is just better for developers or ppl that write there own code like me https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/iphone-apple-intel-bug-flaw-security-issue-how-to-safe-protect-update-latest-download-a8143126.htmlhttps://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/iphone-apple-intel-bug-flaw-security-issue-how-to-safe-protect-update-latest-download-a8143126.html
The product isn’t inferior, you can’t download mods because of the increased security. Would you rather download mods on a game or have your bank details hacked into and stolen? Anyway; apple mobile devices are far more powerful than any competitor mobile devices, allowing them to run SP at much higher frame rates... so much for an ‘inferior product’. The only thing I’ll give you is that Apple products are overpriced, however; they are still fantastic products. @doge
Honestly this is such a simple and yet amazing idea that would be a very exciting addition to the game and easy (?) to implement as well. I’m surprised the devs haven’t added it yet to be honest.
@marcox43 i like that idea
@MTakach for that you could add blind spots, say, you need a blind spot at a certain angle, so you have a circle, meaning the traverse, the light-up section is the fire section and the dark one is the blind spot, so let's say, you have a turret that traverses 160° horizontal, but your tail is in the way, so you put: "Add blind spot" then a dark bar appears and you set the location and amount of degrees it covers, so the gunner won't fire while aiming at your tail... idk how that code could be implemented, but It's an Idea I just thought :3
This is why Apple is bad also over priced for somthing inferior well that and there repair policy's @MTakach
@doge but not everyone can use a mod
Eehh that's why manual is always better thank u tank aiming mod @MTakach
@doge yes, but if there is a vertical stabilizer in the way then it will be shot
Auto typed That by mistake but it would be easier to code and implement with limiters than just detecting the entire aircraft @MTakach
@doge I don't want it to be a mod I want it to actually be in the game
Also wouldn't this mod be simpler if u took out the select cockpit thing and just added depression/apression limiters that said person could set for individual turrents
Use the tank aiming mod takes a it to set up and remove the ability to trim out the aircraft but it's fun @Baby
