Introduction

I know many of you reading this (if you are involved in RP) have been seeing the huge spam and very unrealistic ways of people RPing. Well, since I created SimpleLandia, and along with it brought popularity (and unpopularity) to the SimpleLandia RP, and some users posts are getting really annoying and spammy, I'm going to lay down some rules and guidelines for the SimpleLandia Roleplay.

If you do not follow these rules, your RP will officially not be considered canon, and your RP actions ignored (if they involve the SL RP). I know rules seem a bit controlling, especially since RP is supposed to creative, but many are annoyed and frustrated with the spamminess and otherwise stupid actions of others. I'm not saying any names either, but we all, and they, know who they are. Please read these rules all the way, because failure to follow these rules will result in:

1st Strike : Warning
2nd Strike : Temporary SL RP Ban
3rd Strike : Permanent SL RP Ban

Rules

1. Time
Actions such as travel time, invasions, building equipment, etc, take time. It is unrealistic to design, build, sail, and use an aircraft carrier in less than one day. Same thing goes for aircraft. Invasions don't take hours, they take weeks, even months, in real life. I'm not saying it has to be that realistic, but it has to be reasonable.

Therefore, building times for ships should take at least a couple days, like 4, depending on the ship size. Aircraft should take at least 1 day for a single or a pair (unless your entire economy is based on war material). Cars same as aircraft. Invasions and military operations are also very time consuming. Invading large countries should take quite a while (as in 3 or more days), anything shorter is not tolerated.

2. Weapon Usage
Even countries such as the US and Russia, cannot (and do not) have billions of bombs and men. Using millions or more bombs/nukes and men is unrealistic and therefore, against the rules. Also invasions should be reasonable size. You cannot have 10 million men invading a country the size of Connecticut. It's stupid, spammy, and very much against the rules.

Banned Weapons

• any type of orbital weapons
• chemical/gas weapons
• permanent disability weapons, such as blindness and deafness
• conventional explosives larger than 25,000 lbs.
• nuclear weapons larger than 25 megatons

ALL WEAPONS ARE NOW UNBANNED

3. Land
As we all know, islands do not pop up in the middle of the ocean in one day. But this is RP, so we can stretch a little bit. Countries should not start out containing over 300 million people, and population growth should increase at a reasonable rate depending on the population. And territory for should not be massive. As I said earlier, having islands in the middle of the ocean pop up is realistic, but having an island or archipelago is ok.

Large land grabs are also not tolerated, and having 3 or more colonies is kind of overpowered, and spammy. Also overly large countries are not allowed. Plus, any country created from this point on must create an original nation. You are not allowed to own a real country, unless your nation has been already made.

4. Time Period
To go with the flow of current events, the time period for SimpleLandia RP is the current time in real life. That means that all weapons, equipment, etc. Must be in the realm of this time period or before. Anything created from this point on must be in the time period or just in the future. That means that organizations such as a space force are generally not allowed, unless it is just in the time period. As an example, New SimpleLandia's space force is just a bunch of satelites.

5. Details and Grammar
When you plan an attack, or announce something in RP, YOU MUST USE DETAILS! If you only say your event in 2 sentences, one, it's a waste of a forum post, and two, no one knows what's actually happening, and it's considered spam. Also check your spelling and grammar. If you are not good at speaking english, then it can slide. But if you know english and choose not to use proper grammar and spelling, it will hurt you. By the way this is literally the only time English Class will help you. And as someone said to me earlier, "the guy with the best grammar wins."

6. Superheroes
Superheroes are no longer allowed in SLRP. They were ok previously, but they are no longer accepted. Any use of them or other related things, such as superpowers, or alien tech is not tolerated.

RP Moderators

No offense to anyone, but most consider me to be very moderate in RP, so I appoint myself as head moderator in SL RP (Plus I created the SimpleLandia Roleplay). Anyone wanting to be a moderator must ask me. You must not have a nation in RP to be a moderator, unless your nation is generally neutral.
