I once saw someone ask "Why is the community so alive but multiplayer so dead?" At the time I was sure it was because there are a large portion of mobile players, and that's what I told him.
Today I learned that I was very wrong.
Multiplayer is dead because the only people that play it are a small clique of trolls with Alienware PCs that bring out their thousand part count planes (which aren't even their own builds, giving a bad name to their creators) to troll anyone that isn't them and harass you inbetween several disconnections. Occasionally you will also get some kid that does nothing but spam kill you with XML edited insta-lock missiles. I assume everyone else knew this. Mobile players, you are not missing much.
Sorry if this violates rules somehow but I needed to get this off my chest. If the dev reads this, please don't take it the wrong way. I am not insulting you or your mod. No one can deny that it's an amazing mod but it's ruined by bad people. Would also like to apologize to Squirrel because I made a rash comment to him in reaction to people using his builds for such purposes.
Edit: Subsequent events have only proved my point further. Funny how he skims over the part about harassing others unprovoked. Sounds like an admission to me.
I always hide some xml-modded insta-lock missiles just in case any idiot comes to ruin my glorious roleplay

About that troll thing, dude just fight back, that's what I do. Lemme tell you, only cleavers work. Find a way your craft doesn't get detected by their radar, (something I haven't found out yet) stalk at a really big height, wait for them to land, then carpet bomb them into submission.

If these players annoy you so hard, then switch to Maywar or somewhere else. I mean, cmon, it's not as bad as you think.
The map has quite a few places (albeit not as large or easily accessible as Yeager or Wright) that are very rarely frequented by other players.
If that doesn't fix your problem, then switch to singleplayer. Simple as that. Until HFK does something about it (which I think he currently can't; he's a game developer), this is your only choice.
Just quit whining. It's what multiplayer games are like.

I’d like to point out that I, the “kid who would do nothing but spam kill you with XML edited insta-lock missiles” was doing so because you repeatedly ruined everyone elses gameplay by spawning in as a colossal xml’d Cleaver missile the size of the airport.
Edit: Don’t try and comeback with “I only did it in retaliation weah” the craft was literally called “Lag deez” and you said multiple times your intention was to lag the server.

@OrangeBoardEnterprise sp doesnt take more than 1gb of ram to play, it's mostly the cpu that takes the load, pretty sure your laptop has a quad core in it
