Pannawonica Airport
WESTERN AUSTRALIA
This is a simple map I made using satellite imagery from Google Earth, resolution enhanced by AI. It is quite small, with a simple dirt airport surrounded by terrain taken from real images of the area. Its a bit of a easy fill-in mod, while my upcoming International Airport mod is being developed.
Features:
- Dirt Airport
- Helipad
- Warehouse and hangars
- Surrounding terrain
Download for PC only.
I hope you enjoy this quick little mod I put together.
The aircraft in the image is @GuyFolk's F-35B 'Lightning II'

After this next to the Castle near the Palace right in front of the Sakura City Amusement Park could be the way to the airport could go to Sakura Harbor back on the right side there near the wedding chapel could be the Sakura Air Force base not far from the Sakura Navy base could be the Mission location on PC or Android
@ReynaldoIndustries Hmm I'm quite busy on other projects at the moment, sorry. Maybe after I release my current mod? But I also need to make sure its feasible.
@windshifter1 game NPC School made in garusoft japan you want know map sakura city inbox my gmali reynaldowarwuru7@gmail.com
@ReynaldoIndustries Sorry, what is that actually?
I need request make a Sakura school island completely with city
@jamesPLANESii Thanks, although I'm not sure if textures are possible at all. If it is, then I have no idea how to do it.
I'm not fully adept with how ground textures in Unity work, but would you be able to give the ground a gravely texture? The subtle variation of the ground colour and the hangers in the background would make this a really good mod for backgrounds in screenshots and thumbnails for ground vehicles.
@windshifter1 I actually have a lot more than that, being Kaper, Xinshan, one of the Maywar airports, The Items, Southside Area, Cape Coral, Sarajevo Airport, and Turtle Isle Airport. So really, most major plugin mods are supported in the waypoint and ILS systems. And not only that, but you can enable or disable support for each mod in the settings page in the FMC.
@PlaneFlightX Ok, I'll consider that. Might have to find a place where it doesn't conflict with The Items mod. Are you factoring that in by any chance, including the recent island update for that mod?
@windshifter1 Ah okay. I strongly recommend making a version that is a plugin though, as the SWL-120's navigation systems are only set up for the base game with mod plugin support.
@Karroc9522 Thanks, and yes, they are all in-game pictures!
@Apollo018362 Yeah, it is a shame. I wish I could.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover Thanks!
@PlaneFlightX It is a standalone map... with something extra! It's a secret for now, though ;)
Wait a sec. The first Pic WASNT irl images? My god it is beautiful. 10/10
Looks fire
Would look even better with mobile acess 😭😭☝
Man this looks fire
I have a question about your upcoming International Airport mod, will it be a map plugin or a standalone map?
@TheMouse Yeah I know, I know. It is still plodding on, with a little while yet to go.
To answer your question, I downloaded Google Earth Pro (no, its not a paid pro version. Its just a more complex app for people to use, where you can save out the imagery as well).
In Unity I then had to transform it into a usable texture, for the surrounding terrain.
For the actual airport, though, I took a higher resolution close up shot of only the airport and used AI to increase the resolution (massive improvement there). I imported it into Unity, this time making it into a 2D image that I overlayed onto the corresponding location on the rest of the terrain. That's how you get the higher quality airport surrounded by the lesser quality terrain.
I added some 3D buildings for extra effect, adjusted the height of the terrain, smoothed out some kinks, and here it is. It took several days, maybe just under a week of relaxed work?
