Same too, my DC-10 (old post now deleted) just got 9 upvotes while my MD-11 gets 14 upvotes even though i said that the MD-11 is low effort, but i guess accept it than complain
@PotatoPotatoTheTaken yeah, it’s sad. My my most upvoted builds were stuff I admittedly slapped together in a few minutes, just cause they were meme builds. But the builds I do put my effort into, well those, get about 3 at most. It’s sad.
It sucks, but some builds do well some don’t. It’s a shared experience building something that takes hours and it does badly, then watching a five min botching getting triple the upvotes. But it is how it is. @PotatoWasTaken
Gets a bunch of upvotes talking about upvotes, nah fr though I only hope for no more then 10 upvotes, if I get more than cool I guess, if I get less then it’s no big deal, I usually don’t spend time worrying about who else gets more upvotes, rather focus on improving what I can with my own builds
It’s kinda stupid, and I have to agree, I made a post in 30 minutes and it got almost double the upvotes of my 2nd best upvoted build, which took a week. Maybe people should stop upvoting things like memes and whatnot and just accept it is made for a laugh, not for the points. Some people do put a lot of time into this game, and it’s very sad to see when they don’t get the attention they deserve because other people don’t think that a build is good if it doesn’t have upvotes. jokes aside I agree completely upvotes don't matter much and honestly the feeling of friends liking your builds is much better than anyone upvoting it UNLESS ITS A DEV DEVS ARE LOVE DEVS ARE LIFE
I disagree I love the feeling of spending a week on a build and getting 6 upvotes and spending three days on one and getting 21. its really a nice feeling.
honestly as a medium skilled gold player, i value upvotes as a compass, what worked well and where to work to, I don't focus on downloads because it has a smaller font and realistically its only based off how well i got an image of the build,

also the users who keep saying theres a bias are beginning to get annoying bc ofc there is, these giant users have made supportive friends, been involved in the community and overall have a high average build quality. but they have worked for it so, they reap the rewards of their constant all around hard work.

i honestly cant wait for this upvote "issue" to be over, they worked well for years before i joined the website, and can always continue on.
as a "big" user i totally agree. for a while I would only be happy with upvotes and stuff but I took a month of of posting and when I came back just kinda posted what ever, and just going "oh I guess some people liked my build". I have seen these forums and the also make me not feel bad, but feel like some people are just, misunderstood. bigger users get generally more upvotes, thats how it is, dumb memey and I dare call them "builds" are the same way, just, popular. Now, I totaly agree, and if its ok can I make a forum spotlighting this video to help? also, great video! this was done well!!!!

I don’t really care to much about upvotes, but I do care about downloads, so I guess that’s not as bad, but still definitely unhealthy
