@BagelPlane actually no, because there was no fuel left, and as u can see, the plane actually gains speed in a climb. Not a dive, but in a climb, it gains speed, with its only engine fuel deprived.
No, it seems to be obeying physics quite well. The fuel tank and links are just bouncing around and eventually hit the engine and wings, causing the fire.
