This is 100% real. It was done using Steam Link. While the system isn't fully standalone, me and @KnightofRen were discussing a possible way of a standalone SPM on Chromebooks using CodeWeavers CrossOver.
Basically, this video documents exactly how I did it and includes a recording of me and @Yuri123 messing around in SPM.
Again, this isn't fake. It just requires being hooked up to your computer at all times. Since Steam Link works by casting your screen to your phone, I was able to record it from my PC (I have a mobile screen recording I can upload separately).
ffs I mentioned Steam Link in a different place and no one gives a sh*t but here everyone is actually paying attention.
. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined
@ExiledKristen SPM doesn't have a part limit (technically) but you're supposed to only do like <800 parts to be respectful to those who don't have a fast computer.
Everything here is about your computer speed, not your phone.
@BagelPlane Yeah. It's basically your PC casting it's screen and the controls to your phone. Basically using your PC when you're not at your PC. The best solution if you want SPM, but aren't home.

@IceCraft
alrighty then, that ends our conversation
@iniMiiW I have one
@IceCraft
All of the running and processing is done by the computer, the phone just simply displays it, like a monitor you connect to a computer
@IceCraft
Which you use the Steam Link app to link SP on PC with Mobile
@IceCraft
Yes, but you need a computer
@iniMiiW JakeS literally just showed it to be possible
@IceCraft
Yes, but people are really dumb to realize it's never gonna happen
@iniMiiW probably because people really want mobile mp?
@gabi123 Literally using steam link.
It's not a standalone system. You're just looking for a reason to complain.
@iniMiiW rip

Yeah I saw it
Good luck mate! @JakeS
@BaconEggs Still mobile multiplayer because you don't have to be home as long as your pc is on
using steam link kinda defeats the purpose cuz why dont u just play on pc lol

@Kangy I am working on a standalone system- and I have a few ideas. One was mentioned at the end.
@JakeS does it have a Part Limit?
This is beyond science
yuri?!
I mean it's not really multiplayer on mobile sp, just rather screenshared spmp on mobile
Still a great idea man

Hmm... intersting. Does this mean mobile is playing w/ PC?
