@Freerider2142 also a tip of mine for flying the new chopper: keep below the maximum collective other wise it might become unstable to the point of no recovering. I recommend collective (VTOL) around the half up mark or in between it and the maximum one for best stability and performance
@Freerider2142 I don't have them as far as I can tell i think i might have to reinstall and see if they show (unless such options are a PC only thing) hmmmm I don't think that would make sense
@JediWolf Yes there is....
In part properties :
On Main Rotors reverse selection is just above "Neutral pitch" slider...
On Tail rotors reverse is below the "Gyro Gain" slider...
If you don't have these options, idk why :\
@Freerider2142 nope I triple checked there is NO reverse rotation in the rotor editor. The only reverse rotation i can find is via Overload Mod and it does NOT change from False to True it just resets instantly
@Freerider2142 yeah I wanted to make a tandem rotor but I can't get the other rotor to be reversed because that's just me not knowing how to do all the things!😂
@JediWolf I made a video about different rotor configuration and how do coaxial and Tandem heli's create Yaw: Link
flight control is pretty much the same in all helicopters...
I am planning on making a video on Helicopter Controls in DCS World, in Coaxial and Single rotor systems, I will probably make a Tandem in SimplePlanes to show how to set it up.
@shipster the AH-1 and UH-1 have ridiculous amounts of lift...
especially in ground effect...
In my DCS videos, i'm going to talk about Dissymmetry of lift & Ground effect
and a couple of other tips :)
Also, my AH-1 Cobra has VERY noticeable translational lift and forward flight mechanics, I can have 100% collective, and be flying relatively straight, but 60 will get it off the ground in a flash, very neat stuff
@Kanderman feel free to ask me any questions
@Freerider2142
Ok! Thanks bro...
@Freerider2142 its been out! I'll tag ye to it
@JediWolf tag me when it's out!

@JediWolf Glad you solved it :)
I'm planning to make a couple of videos on how to build Helis in Simpleplanes..
@Freerider2142 yeah it must have been the fact that ive been using the beta release version the entire time! and just forgotten to update
@JediWolf awesome!
@Freerider2142 fixed! already got the first one using the counter rotation up! it might be a bit to maneuverable but it works!
@Freerider2142 I'm on ANDROID which is why my builds only go up to 150 parts (well only the big bois) I'm currently reinstalling to see if it's fixed
@JediWolf If your on steam, make sure the game isn't on Beta....
@Freerider2142 gonna uninstall and reinstall because restarting the game didn't work out..... Will let you know if it something happens
@JediWolf lmk if you find a solution.

@Freerider2142 every time I looked i didn't even see it......guess I'm stupid enough to not look hard enough
@JediWolf In the Rotor Editing menu, there is an option for reverse direction.
:)

@Freerider2142 think you can do a tandem rotor helicopter?
Sweet, I’ll have to leave a...subscription@Freerider2142
