X-05 FlyByWire (updated)

Auto Credit Based on JoshuaW's 01 FBW

-----Updated 3/Dec/2022-----
- canard and tail behaviors improved for better PSM ability
- reduced engine power
- back camera tweaked

Its body looks plain, but it flies like a dream.

Regular Manuveurs (AG1 off) :
This project was actually created for regular flights at the beginning, PSM part was added after.
With an arguably mild wingload(201kg/m2), it can utilise every bit of potential lift force allowed by physics, resulting the ability of smooth and swift regular maneuvers, and can be perfectly controlled by system AI (with AG1 disabled).
video

Post-stall Maneuvers (AG1 on) :
With AG1 enabled, the AoA limit is unlocked, and you can do whatever post-stall maneuvers you like.
video

In both cases, watching it fly is a pure joy.

AG1 unlock post-stall maneuvers.

Tips:
Because of its high twr, full throttle might not be optimal to experience fancy PSM, somthing between 30% to 60% would make things easier.

Intead of cockpit interiors, a back camera is mounted

Might be the most complex (and the best?) fly-by-wire programm in this game so far. (Glad to be proved wrong, discussion and challenges are welcome.)

    Well, while everyone being so attracted by PSM, this project was actually created for an enhanced regular maneuverbility at the beginning, and it did achieve a perfect capability for regular flights, with the comand of every bit of lift force possible, almost no other plane at the same wingload range can fly as beautiful as it does.

    I wrote this comment just to remind you to pay a little more attention to its regular flight (with AG1 off).

    Hey, this build is the coolest thing I've ever seen. This is also the first build I've seen make so much use of the variable setter feature. Could you possibly give me a lead on how to start using this feature in depth? I thought I understood it but upon seeing your work, I realize I have a very limited understanding. I've never seen bodyLift employed for example. This seems way beyond the funky trees guide etc. Thanks in advance!

    Hey, I was just revisiting this plane. I took a closer look under the hood and Wow, the programming for the PSM is seriously impressive. No wonder it performs so well. Really good stuff ! I was flying the successor that @Mason08 posted. Again nice work my friend, nice work.

    Greetings! I apologise for an unrelated comment, but would you please help me with a variant of your Funky Missile which uses fast-response thrust vectoring for better maneurability? I'll tag you at unlisted build.

    @JoshuaW Everything is very difficult for me 😂 so I hope not only to use it, but to learn the code more thoroughly, and thank you for providing such a good plane for me to learn, I also believe that one day I can do such a good plane like you ❤️
    一切对我来说都很困难😂所以我希望不仅仅是使用它,而是更彻底地学习代码,并感谢您为我提供了这么好的飞机去学习,我也相信有一天我也能像您一样做好工作❤️

    @UNBBRGROUN
    If you mean the hardwares, sure you can but I don't find it worthy as its body is rather plain and dull;
    if you're talking about the software, it need to be precisely calibrated to adapt the plane so I don't think you can easily make it.

    very nice plane and can I use it 😂 because is so well. I wanna use some part on my plane😂😂
    非常好的飞机,但是请问我是否能用它😂因为他实在是太完美了,我想把一些部分用在我的飞机上😂😂

    This aircraft is amazing, literally lost half of its wing and still capable of flying though hard to control

    this is my favorite plane for many reasons, but it has only one minor issue with psm, Yaw causes the plane to roll as well and yaw is also fairly weak, not allowing a pugachevs cobra very easially,

    @GorillaGuerrilla Oh I'm not giving him a hard time, this actually might be my favorite plane of all time lol. It pains me to have to limit the speed of this beast that's all. It's not a crucial fault at all.
