This trains works better and turn smoother than the CC204 because the bogies have B-B configuration (2 axle) rather than CC204's C-C (3 axle).

Krupp M1500BB is a diesel-hydraulic locomotive built by Fried. Krupp, Essen, Germany. BB304 (and BB301) is the designation designated to these trains in Indonesia operated by PT. KAI. BB304 was delivered to Indonesia in 1976 and since then has been operating tirelessly. Now, the still operating BB304 gets repowered by fitting a newer stronger engine.
