WR-31 Surge (Carrier Capable)

18.0k windshifter1  one year ago

Note: I am currently overseas, so this will likely be my only aircraft post for another week yet.

This is a high quality build (except the landing gear, I hate doing them so I just didn't) as it has actually been in production for a while, and I only now finished it to post.

VR capable! That is thanks to @PlaneFlightX for doing the necessary testing.

Additionally, it is carrier capable and can do landings on any aircraft carrier, given there is an arresting cable ready. Be sure to lower the hook!

Lastly, I would like to ask your opinion on my three different building styles. Which do you prefer?

Fuselage Panelling: This current one, it uses fuselage panelling to achieve its shape. Pretty unique, harder to make and edit but comes out very original and different to other aircraft.
Example: This aircraft

Fuselage Rotating: Also unique, but ever so slightly to make and edit as it keeps the fuselage as one. This method uses a plain fuselage, puts the edges on manual and make one set of opposite ends hard, and the other set as circular. Thus is makes a more sleek look.
Example (See the front portion, around the cockpit area): Click Here

Same old, same old: Just the good old SimplePlanes fuselage, nothing fancy.

I would not have been able to do this without the help of a few people.

PlaneFlightX

Thank you for doing the VR testing.

WinsWings

Thank you for doing the design overview.

And thanks to the current Monarchii War else this would likely have just sat in my archives forever! This aircraft is under production and will subsequently join the war efforts soon, as part of the aircraft carrier naval squadrons.
