The NM1B2 Pelican is an Iosian flying boat produced in the 1930s and 1940s as a Maritime Patrol Bomber and anti-Submarine amphibious aircraft. It was the most widely used Seaplane of the Second Global war with almost every one of Iosia's allied nations utilizing the aircraft.
The NM1B2 Pelican served in every branch of Iosia's forces during the Second Global War. and even still to this day has limited military use as a search and rescue aircraft for distances far from helicopter range- 82 years after it's introduction in 1936.
The Naming Designation of the NM1B2 stands for Naval Model One, Bomber variation 2 as the second variation of the aircraft featured landing gear for ground operations and a nose gunner with more visibility, The nickname Pelican was adopted by Nordenvokian Forces as the front of the aircraft bears a striking resemblance of the said bird, the nickname eventually stuck with Iosian troops as it was easier to call out.
Activation groups:
1 - Activate Sea Assist System (Disable immediately after unstick)
2 - Drop bombs
3 - Drop torpedoes
4 - Active nose gunner
5 - Active port gunner
6 - Active starboard gunner
7 - Activate Ground Landing Gear
8 - Lock/ Unlock control surfaces
Cameras for all views and Co-pilot.
Performance:
Maximum speed: 205 mph at sea 8,200 ft
Cruise speed: 187 mph at sea level
Range: 2,520 mi (4,030 km)
Service ceiling: 15,800 ft (4,815 m)
Rate of climb: 1,000 ft/min (5.1 m/s)
This is by far my largest build.
Side note, be VERY careful when landing on land with this aircraft, the landing gear are super finicky and there's nothing I can do about it.

Need votes on my next build it will be a Staple fighter plane (BF-109, Zero, Mustang like) from WWII era like most my aircraft have been the past few months.

Ground landing Gear sometimes doesnt work????? It makes me angry

this is really amazing. seeing this from my perspective is like seeing an advanced engineer's work. Its amazing. i'de upvote if i could but my points are too low
if you let them off in the air, the torpedoes kinda just act like propeller propelled rockets
@robloxweponco It's no problem if it gets featured or not, though it would be nice.
this should have been featured by now
@Awsomur Thank you!
Absolutely smashing work.
@toxicgamer88 Using a mod called designersuite. Othawne did all the work on the image though.
@goboygo1 Thanks! and yeah, it's not exactly 100% a Catalina, that's why she's named differently.
cough cough PBY catalina cough cough
(incredibly beautiful aircraft BTW)
how did you get that background? btw
although its called the Pelican, this is a very good model of a PBY Catalina in my opinion, good work!
