North American P-51D Mustang Race 2 "Goldfinger"
A P-51 with quite a bit of history behind it, Goldfinger is not your usual Mustang. Rather than being restored to full military condition, this aircraft was instead rebuilt to pilot Mike Brown's unique specifications by Airmotive Specialties, resulting in this ultra-clean configuration.
With flying surfaces painted in a luxuriant "Las Vegas Gold" and the rest of the aircraft being highly-polished, Goldfinger certainly provides a very unique appearance.
This aircraft has competed at Reno as Race 2, though it has been modified somewhat from the 2016 restoration with a wing clip and other changes. However, I have attempted here to replicate its immediate post-restoration appearance, albeit with the addition of the Race 2 fuselage and wing markings, as well as "GOLDFINGER" lettering on the nose.

Numerous modifications were made to the Mustang. However, since my goal was not to completely rebuild it, most major details are the same as the original, and the entire aircraft has simply been "cleaned up" a bit.

@HuskyDynamics01 Ah yes, I hadn't thought about that
@SilverStar Updated slightly to be a little more metallic. I chose not to go fully mirror-finish to keep the difference from the labels (in particular the race numbers) from being too large.
Since the labels don't (currently) support reflections or metallic finishes, the difference between the reflectivity of the labels and the fuselage color becomes rather annoyingly noticeable when the fuselage is closer to a full mirror-finish.
Very good design I liked the golden color
@Anthony747800 Already working on a few different versions of it, I'll post them when I get back in a few weeks.
You should do the Galloping Ghost, it would be great
You could have pushed the reflections of the paint even further
Anyway, beautiful
This seemed appropriate for a gold special.
