MK-10 "Murder Duckling"
Also known as "The Dictators Jet", " Poor Man's Fighter" and " War Crimes Generator". The 'MK-10' is perhaps one of the most mysterious and controversial fighter plane in existence.
Mysterious, since the manufacturer is totally unknown to the public. In fact, the name of the aircraft is given by the media after the plane made headlines on newspapers and TV screens.
Controversial, because this plane is the choice of fighters among countries which are under the rule of dictators, tyrants and warlords.
This reportedly cheap and easy to fly fighter is eerily similar to the K-10-J2 "Sonic Duckling" produced by HKAS and Choong Aerodynamics, which sparked many theories and assumption to the origin of the aircraft. Some say that the fighters were put together by used K-10s that the above countries import as scrap metal; Others suggested that the plane is actually produced by HKAS using the parts from the unsuccessful K-10-J2, in order to make a profit out of the commercial disaster.
While HKAS denys the claims of the latter saying that there are not militarized versions of the failed jet,. Supporters of this theory however, points out two fact that supported their theory: The designers and engineers who are in charge of the development of the K-10-J2 still have their jobs and despite the lack of order for the J2, the factory which is assigned to manufacture the J2 only is still operating day and night, making...... something.........
