Carrier Based Acrobatics!
Description: The F/A-88A is a japanese carrier based multirole fighter, built with the intention on being able to carry as much payload as possible, while still being maneuverable, stable and relatively fast. It is a versitile aircraft, being able to be configured for multiple types of engagements.
Development: The "Wolfdog" came from a joint project betwen Boeing, Mitsubishi and the Japanese Navy, in the late 1980s. Codenamed "Project Hound", it's intention was to modernize the Japanese Navy's offensive capabilities, and serve as a more effective counterpart to the Mitsubishi F-2 Viper Zero. The only combat this plane has seen was in 2021, during the "Kyoto Incident", when 4 unknown aircraft entered Kyoto airspace and attacking public buildings, causing thousands of dollars in damage.
