Originated as the Improved version of F/A-40A, PAI has an order by the Indonesian Air Force and Navy issued the improvement of the F/A-40 lineup, in which has a point to convert the aircraft to Navy use, Carrier based fighter. Armed with Revised wing that being enlarged and foldable to 120 degrees for stowing at the carrier, Enhanced rigidity of landing gears for carrier operations, additional hardpoints at wings, from 4 at under the wings, now 5 for each, bringing it up to 12 external Hardpoints at once. The control surfaces are updated for increased maneuverability in the jet. The Garuda is now far more larger but still a deadly beast to be beaten.
