Without delving into my personal life, I'm currently at the final season/endgame of my study. Making this thing was not intentional, it’s a fruit of distracted self of me. Final thesis/project waiting for me rn as I write this thing. I'm not in a really good mental state at the moment, a bit convinced to end it all, and for legal reasons, the previous statement is just a joke.

FAL-45SV Himmel Stealth Fighter

Background

The success of the previous fighter, FAL-40S Hipster, opens up many possibilities for more versatile roles of aircraft. Given that project Fighter Advanced Lightweight was inspired by Joint Strike Fighter, the presence of FAL-40S Hipster fulfills 2/3 of the program objective, that was a light stealth fighter for Air Force and Navy. Now, it was the Marine Corps' turn for the project's focus. The need for stealth fighters with the capability to operate in small aircraft carriers like amphibious assault ships or helicopter carriers is needed.

Design and Description

The FAL-45SV Himmel is a single-seat, single-engine, multi-role stealth fighter intended for multipurpose missions. It was designed with VTOL capability in mind, using a lift-fan system like the F-35B Lightning II. V-tail configuration is also used for ease of manufacturing and logistic commonality as FAL-40S Hipster. It has 2 main bays, each containing 1 air-to-air missile and 1 glide bomb.

Also, the presence of lift fan kinda make this plane have a forehead as big as KSI

Vertical takeoff instruction:

• VTOL slider up then Throttle 100%
• After at height (>30m ideal), VTOL slider 1/2 up and built speed, ideally >150 kmh
• VTOL slider to middle.
• Adjust pitch
  Note: In terms of getting in the air fast, I don't recommend vertical takeoff. Short take-off is better cuz it's way faster, especially with a full load. Dont even try vertical takeoff in beast mode lol

Vertical landing instruction:

• VTOL slider up and slow down the aircraft (the fastest way is to pitch up, make the aircraft as an air brake)
• Throttle 80-90% for hover, less after payload gone
• Throttle 70-80% (less after payload gone, about 20%-40%) to descent slowly (or just kill the throttle, it will land itself but won't be smooth)

Short takeoff instruction:

• VTOL slider 1/2 up then Throttle 100%
• After airborne with speed of more than 200kmh (124 mph / 107 kn), pull the VTOL slider to the middle.
• Activate1 (afterburner) to gain speed

There's minor auto yaw that I can't fix when vertical and short take off. Just adjust the yaw as it happen

Glide bomb utilizing stealth technology to achieve long-range strikes, similar to JSOW. Combined with aircraft stealth features makes it great interdictor weapon system.

- GBL-25 Laser Guided Bomb

A guidance kit that turns dumb bomb into smart bomb. Design inspired by Ukrainian 'Adros' BAU-01K laser/GPS guidance kit. Have fin that will unfold. The warhead itself is 500kg bomb based on boomb 25. Remember, this is an unpowered guided bomb. Dont launch it on weird angle. Preferably engage in target in open field.

Its inspired by this:

The swivel nozzle was hard to tweak given that it's not me that built the engine and the swivel nozzle. Probably one of the most complex builds I've done (?), on par with FAD-37 Idris. Lots of challenges, given that you have to tune the VTOL control system and the flight characteristics.

I might have a couple of plans for this game. There's 2(?) build ideas that I want to make. Also, I might build something but with lower efforts (no internal cockpit, etc) and I plan to upload it from my old account (rookie123). Probably remastering some of my really old builds and uploading it there.
