The P-39N-0 Airacobra!

Mitsubishi's best work yet.

Except I'm gonna warn you right here that its nose wheel never touches the ground until the engine starts. Had to sacrifice ground stability for airborne performance.

OK I've overlooked it long enough

Anyone who knows what a P-39 is should know that the Airacobra was in fact made by Bell Aircraft, rather than Mitsubishi. But honestly I just wanted some giggles. First the German Corsair, then a Soviet F-16, 'bout time I drive the community crazy with Japanese P-39. Might make a Soviet A6M or German J2M eventually. Eventually.

Yet in spite of all this madness,

This P-39 is actually better than the real thing, in terms of performance. I've shot down an F-16 in this thing. I took record, and this plane is currently 35 wins to 0 losses (I'm counting).

Now, I know there are some of you out there who love realistic performance, so here's my point: Does it perform like a real P-39? Of course not. But as this Airacobra was designed with the same philosophies as the A6M, it sacrifices a considerable amount of armor for agility and speed. So in short terms, it's not realistic to the plain eye, but when you consider the armor sacrificed, the airframe would be lighter (ignore that it's actually heavier) and thus more fast and agile.

Oh also some important controls (and stuff):

-Use Yaw when taking off, it's virtually impossible to safely get off the ground without yawing ever so slightly (again, sacrifice all ground stability for maximum air performance, that and I was just 1:1'ing my blueprint)

-Activation groups 1 and 3 important. 1 turns on the nose gun (I'll explain in the next section) and 3 drops the rocket tubes (very good for dogfighting).

-The Airacobra has two explosive munitions, six massive rockets and a 37mm nose cannon. The nose cannon is buggy against air targets, so I recommend using the AG1 Nose Gun for air-to-air combat and utilize both the 37mm HE and rockets for ground targets.

-This P-39 is relatively damage tolerant, although its armor isn't amazing it does have two-layered wings which allows it to fly with relatively minor damage. Unfortunately, though, this Airacobra is pretty similar to its War Thunder counterpart in the sense that it catches on fire like a match, try not to get hit.

-Yes, this is a leaked Gaijin premium: P-39N-0, Japanese Air Tree, 3.3 BR in Arcade and Simulator Battles, 3.6 BR in Realistic mode, present on Akagi 1942.
