(English version at the bottom of the page )

. Décollage avec un demi cran de volet .

-Touche 1 : Moteurs gauches.

Here is a story and a device straight out of my imagination.

the arrest of Konstantin Alekseevich Kalinin during the Stalinist purges of 1938, we
deprived of a talented aeronautical engineer.
We are in 1950, and we are going to rewrite history again.
Kalinin escaped the purges, and created a design office.

The Kalinin K-100 was a fast experimental aircraft built by the OKB office in
Konstantin Alekseevich Kalinin in the years 1959. A prototype was built.
The Kalinin K-100 was in competition with other prototypes, notably the Miassichtchev M 50 Bounder.
It was intended to become a long-range bomber, or a rapid reconnaissance aircraft.
it reached approximately 700 mph at sea level. Crews 7 people.
Four seafarers, two mechanics and a reconnaissance operator.
It was designed like the K15, but 10 times bigger. Prototype 100 performed
reconnaissance missions over Alaska. It was abandoned in 1961 after three tests.
The aircraft was appreciated by pilots. Rare metal construction and especially maintenance were judged too
complicated for a standard device. It was scrapped a few years later.
