Basic challenge overview:
Design a spacecraft with the intended use of colonising a distant planet. This craft must be able to carry the cargo crate that has been provided.

Long description (Important to read if you are entering): Thanks to the various spacecraft designed by the SP community, sectors outside of our star system have been charted. They are now ready for colonization. The contents of this cargo crate are the bare essentials for a colonization effort. Design a ship to carry the crate through the cosmos. Take note that the crate only has the essentials. You can design or carry any gear or items that will further benefit the colonists (Ex: weapons, terraforming systems, hydroponic farms, etc.). Also note that your ship should have some form of bunking for the colonists on their interstellar voyage (ex: crew cabins, or just a large ship).

What I am judging:
I will have a 1-10 scale for each category. The final judgement will be an average of the scores in each category. If there is a tie between two people, I will simply pick the one I like most.

1. Looks: This does NOT mean detail. Just make it have a nice shape. Of course, a few details will improve your score.

2. Preparedness/feasability: Does this resemble a colony ship? This will be judged leniently, because, well, its sci-fi. Also, is this ship ready for whatever can be thrown at it?

3. Handling: Does it fly? Is it easy to control? I'm not looking for crazy maneuverability, but I don't want to get bored when waiting for the ship to turn.

4: Personal enjoyment/impressions: Ah, yes, many of you might be rolling your eyes by now. This is just my gut-feeling of how I would rate the spacecraft out of 10. This is how much I like the craft.

Special features that will improve your score:
Note that these don't contribute to any specific score category. They will just make me like the build more.
- Operational in a vacuum. See my impulse drives and VoidFrames for more info.
- More storage compartments and extra gear for the colonists to use.
- Weapons for self-defense.
- clever gizmos to make the craft unique and better than the other competitors.

Rules:
- XML is allowed, just don't have any mods that require me to download something.
- Entries must be a successor.
- 1 entry per user.
- You must use the cargo crate in the build. Do not edit its mass or size, but you may remove the decal if you wish.

"But what if I can't mod?"
- No worries. The iOS users will be judged seperately from the PC and android users, because iOS cannot XML mod (or nudge, in some cases).
- If you are an iOS user who wants to be judged along with the non-iOS users, then tell me.

Rewards:
1st: Spotlight on the challenge entry, and I spotlight another aircraft of their choosing.
2nd: Spotlight on the challenge entry, and I upvote 5 other planes.
3rd: Spotlight on challenge entry.

[EDIT] If a player with more points than me places or wins, I will reward them with upvotes, as I cannot spotlight players who have more points than me.

I will upvote each entry.

I will also announce the winners in a forum post.

Depending on how many people enter, I may have honorable mentions, which will be mentioned in the same forum post as the winners.
