Originally Meschermishit produced the Stryker from 1952-1960 but after financial issues Boeing took control and started production in West Germany to counter the growing Soviet threat.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱?
Originally they were used in Westeren Germany (it had VTOL engines to tame off from roads) but after the collapse of Russia all remaining ones were transported to America where the Pentagon leased off 20 to the Uk and were phased into 617 sqn as heavy/strike fighters and would later be used in Desert Storm meeting their American brethren.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱?
They would be used in training excercises until the falknads when these planes would accompany Vulcans to port Stanley.
But this particular plane was in the USAF 13th bomb squadron as an escort fighter but during Operation Desert Storm they were repainted in desert markings and re armed allowing them to fly with British harriers and Tornados.
