Borderlands 2 Light Runner Suspension Test

31.7k Mage2IsTriggered  2.5 years ago

Hey!

I've been playing a lot of Borderlands 2 (currently playing Sniper Zer0 in TVHM if anyone is wondering) and that gave me the idea to test if i could make the suspension of the Light Runner in SP.
This is the best version i could make, with it being very stable, compliant and efficient. It's a bit heavy on performance cost, but it's alright. It also can't extend, only contract, but these are issues i can fix if i end up making something like a Light Runner.

Controls: Throttle to accelerate
Roll to steer
AG8 to turn off the very weak gyro in installed

And yeah, i know the wheels should rotate in the opposite directions for turning, but this is the way i found for the car to actually turn the direction you tell it to. If it was like in the game, it would go the opposite direction you would want it to (eg: turning Left would go Right)

@Rocketguy2079 possibly, that generation of car is relatively simple to make. Tho rn, im working on a 5th gen fighter with the help of a friend. If i find the time and energy, ill try to, and tag you on it too.

Makes sense. Is it possible you could make something similar to a mid 80s car like a Mclaren MP4-3? And I’m a big mclaren fan if you can’t tell.

@GreatHenry it' sas smooth as it got while being similar to the game, hell, it even has to be inverted so steering could actually steer properly. Wheel traction tuning and XML modding could help, but i don't think it would improve much
Also, it's "but you can do better"
