Windworks Series 50XR. Heron (RecXR)
Note: this plane has so many easter eggs/references/inside jokes that there are too many to count. Also, google the callsign. (hint hint)
INFO:
1986, Helicopters were very common in mountain-transportation, but they were slow, and rather bumpy in terms of travel. Hence, the slightly less efficient, and much more affordable WW RecXR STOL Bush aircraft. This aircraft was designed to fly at considerably high altitudes, quickly, and resist strong crosswinds with it's unique, totally not ripped off from fairey firefly, flaps. The aircraft was designed for private use (1 person) and could carry some light cargo with it such as: Camping equipment, skis, food, climbing gear, etc.
