About the Hunter F.1 in common
Without question the most successful post-war British fighter aircraft, the Hunter has a grace that complements its effectiveness as a warplane. Entering service in July 1954, the aircraft was produced in numerous guises and remained in service for 40 years. The F.1 was easily supersonic in a shallow dive.
