This is a fix I made for aircraftarsenal123. There is a lot of description on how it was fixed. I'll add this soon so it can be a teaching aid.
OK, here are the basic fixes:
1. Swapped all wings to be structural but a way that allows control surfaces (partType="Wing-2" allowControlSurfaces="true")
2. Moved cockpit to front for stability
3. removed all but one VTOL and set the power to be 0.1% to turn Walrus Props (partType="Engine-Jet-5" min="0" max=".1")
4. Locked nozzles on props so they don't need VTOL to move (partType="ThrustPort-1" min="0" max="0" activationGroup="none")
5. Added two large prop engines with 100X power.
6. Adjusted the center of mass just a bit (centerOfMass="0,0,.5")
The airplane is lighter and appears to fly better. Check it out and let me know if I'm mistaken.

@WalrusAircraft ok. You make it sound like you have a beta...
Let me know if you need more help. I need to get back to some testing I'm not allowed to talk about. @AeroEngineering
@WalrusAircraft alright
I did, and my first thought was "cool!"
I would not attempt it since toy will go squirrelly with the angles in XML. @AeroEngineering
Ugh... forgot how to make links work...
@WalrusAircraft thanks. Did you see my flying wing idea?
@AeroEngineering - OK it is up and I changed quite a bit to make it look and fly well. [http://www.simpleplanes.com/a/59606u/AeroEngineering-WalrusAircraft]
@WalrusAircraft I was just thinking that it would be cool to see a tailess hyperbolic paraboloid shaped flying wing. I would like your thought on this.
(i just finished geometry homework, btw)
@WalrusAircraft ok
Sorry I was working late. I'll upload as soon as I get home today. @AeroEngineering
@WalrusAircraft could ypou upload what you have for me now? also, I now want to build one of those early motorcycle prototypes that have a rotarty engine inside of the wheel
Good question. I don't know how those old engines worked. The double wasp engines of WW II did not spin. Check out YouTube to see how the worked. Kind of cool. @AeroEngineering
Another question: how was the fuel put into the cylinders as the rotated making a fuel line impractical
I'm also goingvtovtry adding one of my working cockpits
@WalrusAircraft I'm not in a rush. Feel free to play with it. I'm also fine if you make it base for your next plane, our versions will probably look different. I like to have it as soon as possible, but take your time and do what you need to
@AeroEngineering - BTW, if you use a throw away email, I can just email you the XML. Easier than posting...
@AeroEngineering - I basically got it working. I removed the extra jet engine, removed the flaps because they were behind the COM, added two small props again at 20X power, increased the length of wings, and added a fuel tank with -2000 lbs just above the cab. It is rough and I'd like to play with it more. This is basically the second plane I was going to build. :-) I was going to do a single prop, but Jr. wanted a bi-plane. I can share back to you after I sort out the kinks, but it seems to work. Are you in a rush to get this out?
@WalrusAircraft alright. thats fine. i dontt need her right now
I was on the phone for several hours and could not test. I promise to test tomorrow! @AeroEngineering
@WalrusAircraft alright. Thanks
OK I see it and will look at it after dinner. @AeroEngineering
@WalrusAircraft to hopefully make sure nobody finds this project because I want it a secret for niw, in postiong here. click here I think there is an extra jet engine stick into it somewhere, thatcanbe removed
