Short introduction:

The North American Aviation JA-71 also known as "Sparrow" is an American long-range, single-seat fighter / interceptor used during World War II and among other conflicts. The JA-71 was designed in April 1940 and ended service at 1961

The JA-71 is equipped with a VFFX-1710 engine(Fictional) with contra-rotating propellers (CRP), or high-speed propellers, apply the maximum power of usually a single piston. The JA-71 was designed to use the VFFX-1710 engine (Fictional), which had limited high-altitude performance . The aircraft was first flown operationally by the RAF as a tactical-reconnaissance aircraft and fighter, and was armed with four .50 caliber (12.7 mm) AN/M2 Browning machine guns as same as the P-51 mustang has.

The JA-71 was also used by Allied air forces in the North African, Mediterranean, Italian, and Pacific theaters. During World War II, JA-71 pilots claimed to have destroyed 2,450 enemy aircraft.
