TUPOLEV TU-40 "SVER"
The 𝙏𝙪𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙫 𝙏𝙪-40 "𝙎𝙫𝙚𝙧" (NATO callsign: Raven) is a subsonic, high altitude, Nuclear intercontinental ballistic missile base designed and built by the Nuclear Aerospace Arsenal branch of Tupolev in the 1960.
It was first designed for being a long range, high altitude strategic bomber, but due to the political tension that was generating between the U.S.S.R and the NATO, it was re-designed for nuclear warfare, capable of carrying 3 R-80 nuclear Air-to-Surface ballistic missiles, wich are their main weapon.
Its only defensive systems were 9 countermeasures dispensers, 6 flare dispensers in each landing gear pod at the wings, and 3 chaff dispenser at the tail, wich made it an easy target for NATO interceptors.
