History

This tank was designed by PT. PINDAD in Bandung since 2023 and the design of this tank was completed in 2026, then this tank was approved by the ministry of defense Indonesia and the government Indonesia, finally starting to build a prototype in 2028 and undergoing trials, after trials that long and complicated Finally it was approved,starting mass production in 2030 of approximately 1200 units and being used in various countries in Southeast Asia, Africa and parts of Europe, the name of this tank was taken from the names of 2 tanks, namely Leopard and Abrams, the names The Abrams is taken from the hull tank design which follows the hull tanks like the Abrams and the name Leo is taken from the name of the leopard tank as inspiration with this project
