A-23

As I promised in the F-23 post, here is its ground attack variant.

If this plane surpasses the F-23 in upvotes, I will make a stealth F-16.

War Hammer

In mid-2034, the Sino-American War was at a critical juncture, and American forces faced an urgent need for a new close air support and ground attack platform to ensure battlefield superiority. The answer came with the evolution of the F-23A into the ground attack variant A-23 War Hammer, developed by Skytech Dynamics in collaboration with Lockheed Martin.

The A-23 War Hammer was not merely an adaptation of the F-23A; it was a revolutionary evolution. Designed to operate in conjunction with the QA-10F Phoenix, a close air support drone, the War Hammer integrated advanced external armament systems, allowing for an impressive lethal payload and versatility in combat.

Field Operations:

The A-23 War Hammer made its debut during a critical phase of the war, with one of its first missions carried out near Shanghai. American forces were facing fierce resistance, and the presence of the War Hammer brought a new dynamic to the battlefield.

In joint operations, the War Hammer used its external armaments to deliver surgical strikes against armored vehicles, enemy fortifications, and troop concentrations. Meanwhile, the QA-10F Phoenix conducted patrols and provided close air support, coordinating with the War Hammer to maximize attack efficiency and ensure battlefield superiority.

Impact and Challenges:

The introduction of the A-23 War Hammer had a significant impact on the battlefield. American forces experienced a boost in morale and operational effectiveness, and stories about the combined power of the War Hammer and the Phoenix quickly spread among the troops.

However, the collaboration between the War Hammer and the Phoenix brought challenges. Ensuring effective and secure integration between the two systems required ongoing improvements in tactics and communication. Engineers and strategists worked diligently to optimize capabilities and ensure that the A-23 remained a valuable asset in combat.

As the war progressed, the A-23 War Hammer established itself as a cornerstone of American military strategy, demonstrating the effectiveness of a ground attack platform in synergy with advanced close air support. The success of the War Hammer and its collaboration with the QA-10F Phoenix marked a new era in military aviation and contributed to a crucial turning point in the Sino-American War.
