Meet the Falchion...

...For the second time??

Ok, so I should probably explain myself.

For those of you who will actually care about the lore, I'm sure you remember this post I made announcing the retirement of the F-33... but alas, there's an F-33 right before you. Why?

Well, to give you the full explanation:
The F-33 I built all those months ago (roughly 7 at the time of this post) was good, and my best plane at the time. Its missiles were groundbreaking as well. But alas, the F-33 wasn't perfect. It was unstable by pitch, its roll was dreadful, it literally couldn't land on its wheels, and say what you want, but I honestly thought its aesthetics could use some work.
So that's exactly what I set out to fix. Built from the ground up, and forming after grinding for an entire day and night to finish this jet ASAP whilst still being high quality, I present to you, the new and improved F-33A-50 Falchion.

(TL;DR: The old Falchion was good, so I made it better)

This version of the Falchion greatly improves everything you saw on the old F-33- and I do mean everything. The gun is better, the armor is improved, it should be faster, its flight performance has skyrocketed, it can finally land on its wheels (just don't go max-downpitching into the ground), it has ground-strike capabilities, and it even has a fully-detailed cockpit for VR! And if all that isn't enough, the new Falchion even sports a white-and-green color scheme, ready to tackle anything... in style!

Now, the F-33A-50 does have one, single trade-off from his original variant, that being the lack of Mister T's target-following camera. The reason for this is that I simply forgot, and I already had this post up by the time I realized it lol.

Controls are quite simple, all of the flight systems function as normal. Only thing I would note (in terms of flight) is that the VTOL flaps only work with the lever pulled down, so you won't get any upwards-facing flaps. The aircraft uses a few Activation Groups, namely...
-AG1: Secondary gun. The aircraft has only one gun, but I put two in one spot (so basically two guns serving as one) so you can fire twice the bullets.
-AG3,4,5: Release pylon payloads. They go in order of lower-number-further-in (Activation group 3 releases the pylon loads closest to the fuselage- that would be the drop tanks. This pattern continues outward for 4 and 5).
-AG7: Afterburner.
-AG8: Lights. This only applies to the wing-lights, the lights on the landing gear will automatically toggle depending on if the gear is down or not.

That's pretty much all. Have fun and happy hunting!

The new F-33A-50 takes off from windshifter1's MDA Base.

Bonus trivia!

-The F-33 as a whole is based off a LEGO plane I built (a MOC to be exact for my fellow LEGO enjoyers). I've got a picture of it around here somewhere... either way, the new one is definitely truer to the LEGO version than the OG SP one.
-TCAI stands for TUPL Collaborative Aircraft Industry. Who are the collaborators? Idk, Yeet-U or something lol
-The new F-33A-50 could beat Mitchell (of the NMR) in a fight.
-The left side of the cockpit has a small white bin looking thing. That's a cupholder.
-I was gonna release it later (January 25 was my original date, then end of January), but I wanted to release it before the original F-33's retirement date so they'll at least have a little bit of time to serve together.

Like I said, this is more true to the LEGO version, which was assembled using whatever pieces I had on hand... regardless of color lol

Excellent work friend, I'm impressed by the quality of the screenshots, the light angle is perfect, it seems to be a prophecy of SimplePlanes 2's realism, incredible!! ;)
