The GM.55 Thunderbolt 2 is a third generation main battle tank in service with the RNVA. It is the primary MBT of the Royal Army.

The GM.55A6 is the most modern variant of the Thunderbolt, having up to date optics, fire control systems, and communication systems. The main gun of the Thunderbolt is the GR.130/50 smoothbore gun fed by a bustle autoloader. It is crewed by three, a commander, gunner, and a driver.

The URSA-T which stands for Urban Survival Add-on; Tank, is an add on kit similar to the American TUSK package. This gives the Thunderbolt additional composite armor in the front and sides, and ERA on the sides of the skirts and turrets and with slat armor in the rear. This also equips the tank with the Lyre hard kill active protection system and other defensive systems.
