Ok, so the plane could be too moody for some pilots, so improvements have been made, incluiding a real cockpit this time! (Hence the weird shape when both versions are set side by side.)

List of improvements:

  • Roll and Pitch controlled by the same control surfaces
  • Roll adjusted for IAS
  • Airbrakes accept more inputs for AG3 and AG4, making crosswind landings easier
  • Realistic blink pattern, thanks to my electrotechnic engineering skills, heh
  • Payloads held at safer attach points ( for this reason, the previous version could not catapult itself)
  • Overhaul stability improvements, even in High-G Mode, and specially when all the payload as been dumped.
  • More power

@SemedianIndustries yeah I can handle builds with a few thousand parts on my phone which is great but working with XML and nudging is so much easier on the computer

@Mustang51 I started on my tablet then my desires for bigger planes went beyond its capabilities, so I got the Steam version

@SemedianIndustries yeah I started playing over 5 years ago on my phone and even though I have it on my computer I still prefer it on mobile hahaha

@Mustang51 damn, you've been mobile from the start

@SemedianIndustries yeah playing around with the drag is really important. Before 1.9 it was really hard to do this for me as a mobile user but with the integration of overload it’s very simple. It helps makes planes fly far more realistically

@SemedianIndustries is it supposed to be a relatively modern aircraft? If it is I would expect the max speed to be around double seeing that it’s meant to fit an air superiority role. I would mix adding power, losing some weight even maybe and then reducing the drag points by 50%. Drag points are what limit the max speed your aircraft can go so if you keep the power at a moderate level, it will accelerate realistically

@SemedianIndustries cool! I can’t wait to see it

@sheepsblood does it? It's slightly unstable by design, as an air superiority fighter jet

@Mustang51 once I build a ground attack variant, that shall be implemented

@SemedianIndustries I wouldn’t say it needs it but one of the traits of air superiority fighters is their high power to weight ratio which gives them the capability to fulfil their role better. It’s not necessary but it would help. No need to make a new variant of it just to change that though hahaha. I love it as it is

It may fly wonky, but I love it. The cockpit design is awesome. Easy to see out of and the angles are very nice aesthetics.

    @Mustang51 it needs more power?

@SemedianIndustries it’s great! It flies pretty well and realistically but there is still a few things which you can do to give it more of an air superiority feel. Power to weight ratio is one that comes to mind but other than that it’s really good. It really looks different compared to all the other jets you see. Lovely cockpit as well!
